Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) welcomed Indian Ambassador H.E. Naveen Srivastava today. Organizing a program NICCI Brifed Ambassador about the issues being faced and remained standstill from last couple of years and urged Ambassador Srivastava for his initiation towards resolving the issues.
Welcoming the Ambassador President Mrs. Shreejana Rana inroduced the Executive Members, Conveners & representatives of 9 Subject wise Working Committees and the Officials of secretariats.
The conveners and representatives from the working committees briefed the issues identified by the committees and requested Ambassador Naveen Srivastava for the further process to resolve it.
Currently NICCI has 9 different working committees:- 1). Tourism Committee 2) Event, PR, Publication, Membership drive and Chapter related Cimmittee 3) Indian Business Forum (IBF), 4) Industry & Export Promotion Committee, 5) Tax & Custom Committee, 6) Energy Committee 7) Banking & Insurance Cimmittee, 8) Trade & Transit Committee, 9) M/SME Committee
On the Program, President of NICCI Mrs. Shreejana Rana honored Indian Ambassador Srivastava presenting the Plaque of Honorary Patron of NICCI.
President of NICCI Birgunj Chapter Mr. Abhishek Chaudhary also informed about the newly formed Birgunj Chapter of NICCI so as to facilitate and promote Nepal-India Economic Relations.
