“Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” -Vince Lombardi
It is an honour to be a part of the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) and to continue to see the hard work and efforts made by the members make a difference since its establishment in 1993. NICCI’s main goal is facilitate, highlight and enhance bi-lateral economic connectivity between Nepal and India and act as a bridge between the relevant stakeholders. Nepal-Indo relations are based on a foundation of friendship and cooperation. Our two nations are connected not only by culture and values and by hearts and minds, but also by trade and commerce, by road and air.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the last two years have been uncertain and difficult for many, but NICCI continues to focus on ensuring that the work is still happening. We continue to focus on areas where we can revive, revitalize, learn and ‘build back better’. We have to work on making sure that the foundation is still strong to ensure a positive investment friendly ecosystem. We continue to make progress. NICCI has continued to ensure collaborative and cohesive discussions and policy recommendations are being put forward between the relevant stakeholders in the government and private sector.
